ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!
Journey into one of the darkest corners of the American Southwest with Galaxies of the Gods, a 4-day, 3-night astrophotography workshop set among the towering rock formations of Valley of the Gods and the dramatic overlooks of Goosenecks State Park. This is your chance to elevate your nightscape photography in true Bortle 1 skies—some of the clearest, darkest conditions in the country.
🌌 What You’ll Experience:
• Milky Way Mastery – Capture breathtaking images of the Milky Way rising over the iconic sandstone monoliths of Valley of the Gods and the winding canyon bends of Goosenecks State Park.
• Blue Hour & Blending Techniques – Stay late into the night as we photograph the golden fade of sunset into blue hour, creating perfect frames for blending with our Milky Way shots.
• Remote Desert Beauty – Explore lesser-known, wildly photogenic terrain that feels like a slice of another world right here on Earth—with far fewer crowds.
📸 What’s Included:
✔️ 3 Nights Lodging – Comfortable accommodations to recharge after full nights under the stars.
✔️ Select Meals Provided – Includes snacks and Goodbye Brunch.
✔️ All 3 of My Custom Presets – Streamline your editing workflow with my signature Lightroom and ACR presets, built for nightscapes and desert light.
✔️ 2 Post-Processing Courses – Learn powerful techniques for blending blue hour with night skies, noise reduction, stacking, and more.
✔️ A Print Voucher to Steam Art & Graphics (for new participants only) – have one of your images printed on aluminum for free!
This workshop is perfect for photographers ready to push their creativity, expand their skillset, and shoot in some of the most unspoiled skies in the Lower 48. Galaxies of the Gods will leave you inspired, educated, and coming home with frame-worthy images.
