Join us for Frost & Stardust at Mowdy Ranch, a one-of-a-kind winter photography retreat that captures the untamed spirit of Oklahoma’s mustangs beneath the shimmering return of the Milky Way. This exclusive experience combines rustic adventure, professional instruction, and the serene charm of ranch life — all set against a backdrop of frost-kissed mornings and star-filled skies.

You’ll spend three unforgettable days photographing the herds as we ride along on their feeding routes in the soft, icy light of dawn, their breath visible in the chill air, as well as pre dawn mornings, when we’ll bundle up and head out to capture the first dark sky week of the Milky Way’s return, working on early-season blue hour blending and even creating ethereal Milky Way composites over the mustangs themselves.

Between shoots, enjoy hearty meals, cozy lodging with your own private room, and relaxed downtime around the ranch. You’ll take part in four guided ATV rides into the mustang fields, hands-on instruction from start to finish, and an editing session featuring the included HDR Glow preset — perfect for enhancing your frosty morning shots and celestial skies alike.
